SDC - Spreading the Word of God through the Net

SDC was founded by St George Preca in Malta in 1907, spreading the Word of God in different ways.  The Resources part of their web site has many free resources to be used in different situations to help pass on the faith to others, including sacramental programmes, Children's Liturgy worksheets for every Sunday of the year, assemblies, presentations, prayer books and much more.

Wednesday Word
Sharing Sunday's Gospel with parents, families and parishioners.  Families within our Parish use the Family Time leaflets, designed in a family friendly manner, where a "word" inspired by the coming Sunday’s Gospel, is suggested for families to talk about in the home.  A Parishioners sheet is also available for reflections on the Gospel, and can be downloaded from this site.

The Letter

 The Letter.JPG

The Pope sent letters to various ordinary people, asking them to come to Rome to discuss the problems of global warming.  This film is the result.  The Letter is a fascinating film that I think all people should watch. So far over 8.1 million have seen it.
