Children and young people at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tend to go to the different village primary schools and a variety of secondary schools.  Coming together at Sacred Heart is an important time for them, at Mass, and in the sacramental preparation classes for First Forgiveness, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.

Social occasions are also important to continue to nurture the sense of Catholic community.  Tea, coffee and juice is often available after Mass, and coming together behind the Sacred Heart banner on Whit Friday is a joyous occasion.
