Friday 13 May 2011 A Silent Auction will take place at 7.30pm in the Church Hall, with all proceeds in support of St Chad's and Sacred Heart Whit Friday Committee. Tickets for the event are £2.50 and include a glass of wine. Donations of items to be auctioned are required, fill out the contact form on this web site for further details.

First Friday Masses	Posted: Mon 21 March 2011
Change of venue from 1st April 2011 The mid-day mass at 12 noon on the first Friday of each month will take place in the Church Hall to enable easier access for all who attend Mass on that day. Benediction will follow as usual at 12.30pm

THE PARISH CHARITY SHOP	Posted: Mon 21 February 2011
Reuse and recycle The Charity Shop opens each Wednesday at 8.30.a.m. until 2.30.p.m. We sell Clothes, China, Books Bric-a-brac and small household items. Donations always welcome (sadly no electrical items can be accepted for safety reasons). All the proceeds of the shop go to the Church.

Fairtrade Fortnight and Beyond

Traidcraft Stall

Our Parish has ben awarded Fairtrade Parish Status by CAFOD and the Fairtrade Foundation. We use fairly traded products such as tea, coffee and sugar for all parish occasions.

Our Traidcraft stall is a wonderful opportunity to buy Fairtrade products, and is open in the Parish Centre after 10am Sunday Mass when we have either CAFOD Teacake or Sunday School.

We make a small profit of which every penny is returned to Traidcraft for their work.
